Tanagra air force base

Tanagra Air Force Base is a Greek military installation located north of Athens. It is a significant site for the Hellenic Air Force. On a Saturday, a Greek air force Phantom F-4 jet crashed during a low-altitude maneuver while performing at the event. The crash resulted in the deaths of the two pilots and caused a fire that produced large plumes of black smoke. Fortunately, there were no injuries among the thousands of spectators attending the air show.
