Thologolong is a rural location in Victoria, Australia, near Walwa. It gained recent notoriety as the site of a three-hour standoff between police and Dezi Freeman, Australia's most wanted fugitive. Freeman, described as a radical "Sovereign Citizen," was wanted for the alleged murder of two police officers. After months on the run, Freeman was located at a rural property in Thologolong. According to police reports, he refused to surrender peacefully and emerged from a building, described as a shipping container-like structure, with a weapon.
