Vailhourles

Vailhourles is a town in the Aveyron department of France. It has recently become newsworthy due to the disappearance of a woman and her son from their home in the town. The primary suspect in their disappearance was the woman's ex-partner, who was also the father of the missing son. He was apprehended in Portugal along with his two children. Tragically, the missing woman and another woman, his current partner, were later found dead in Portugal. The ex-partner, Cédric Prizzon, had a history of domestic violence and was previously convicted for offenses related to child custody and harassment of his ex-partner. The case has sparked outrage and discussion about domestic violence prevention and victim protection measures, particularly regarding why one of the victims, who had been threatened, did not have access to a 'grave danger' phone.
