Zhoushan is a city located in Zhejiang province, eastern China, situated on the East China Sea coast. Recent news highlights Zhoushan for two distinct reasons. Firstly, it is the home of Chen Achong, an 82-year-old man who garnered attention for his unwavering devotion to his wife, Xue, spending 12 hours daily for 105 days traveling to visit her in the ICU. This story resonated deeply, showcasing enduring love and commitment. Secondly, Zhoushan is significant as the location of a naval base where two Type 055 guided-missile destroyers were recently observed.
