Abu Sharia family

The Abu Sharia family is a Palestinian family from Gaza. They have recently gained attention due to a mass funeral held on August 4, 2026, in Gaza City. This funeral honored 112 individuals, including members of the Abu Sharia and Hassayna families, whose bodies were recovered after being trapped under rubble for nearly three years. These remains are from a 2023 Israeli strike.
