Canary Mission is a pro-Israel organization that compiles and publishes dossiers on students and academics perceived as critical of Israel, particularly those involved in pro-Palestinian activism. Recently, pro-Palestine advocate Mahmoud Khalil filed a lawsuit against Trump administration officials and several pro-Israel groups, including Canary Mission, alleging a conspiracy to target him and others for their support of Palestinian rights. Khalil, a former Columbia University graduate student, became a prominent figure in the Trump administration's efforts to address pro-Palestine speech after his detention.
