Chinese Medicine Hospital of Hong Kong

The Chinese Medicine Hospital of Hong Kong, the city's first dedicated institution of its kind, is expanding its services. It will commence 24-hour inpatient services in December, a significant development for traditional Chinese medicine in the region. This service will be available at a subsidized rate of HK$980 per day, which is higher than public hospital fees. The hospital is also actively rolling out specialized treatment programs, with two new initiatives for stroke and lower back pain launching imminently. These are part of a broader plan to introduce 23 special disease programs over the next five years. The hospital's chief executive, Bian Zhaoxiang, highlighted these strategic developments. The introduction of comprehensive inpatient care and specialized disease programs marks a new phase for the hospital, enhancing its role in providing integrated healthcare options in Hong Kong.
