Cockroach party

The Cockroach party, a youth-led movement in India, is currently newsworthy due to recent crackdowns by authorities. Two of its leaders, Ashutosh Ranka and Saurav Das, were recently jailed for five days for violating a protest ban at Jantar Mantar in central Delhi. Their actions included jumping police barricades, holding slogans, and waving the Indian flag. This incident occurred ahead of an anti-government march, during which dozens of protesters, including Cockroach party leaders, were detained by New Delhi police. The movement appears to be a platform for youth activism, with recent events highlighting their engagement in protests and the government's response to such demonstrations.
