Cockroach People’s Party

The Cockroach People's Party (CJP), also known as the Cockroach Janta Party, is a satirical Gen Z political movement in India. Founded by Abhijeet Dipke, the party is a playful critique of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The CJP has recently gained significant media attention for its protests demanding the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Supporters have launched an indefinite protest, defying police orders and camping out at the Jantar Mantar observatory in New Delhi. The movement's viral nature and its direct challenge to a government minister have made it a noteworthy, albeit unconventional, political development in contemporary India.
