Correctional Services Department

The Correctional Services Department (CSD) is the government department responsible for managing prisons and rehabilitating offenders in Hong Kong. Second, the CSD has initiated exchange tours to mainland China for former young offenders convicted of crimes related to the 2019 social unrest. This initiative, part of Project PATH, aims to enhance their understanding of national development and culture. These events highlight the CSD's dual role in maintaining security and facilitating rehabilitation, while also underscoring the challenges of cybersecurity and the evolving approaches to offender reintegration.
