The report revealed that Prince Andrew sublet cottages on his Windsor Royal Lodge estate while paying a nominal 'peppercorn rent' to the Crown Estate. The NAO's review highlighted that King Charles also pays an adjusted rent below market value for his properties from his private Duchy of Lancaster income.
