Debsirin School

Debsirin School is an educational institution located in Nonthaburi, on the outskirts of Bangkok, Thailand. The school gained immediate and tragic notoriety following a shooting incident on a Friday morning. A 14-year-old student, who was also a pupil at Debsirin School, carried out the attack. The incident began at his home where he killed his grandparents, before proceeding to the school. At Debsirin School, he fatally shot five teachers. The perpetrator subsequently took his own life. In total, at least seven people were killed and 23 others were injured during the rampage. The event has prompted a strong reaction from the Thai Prime Minister, who has vowed to implement stricter gun control laws in the country. The shooting has brought the school into the national spotlight due to the horrific events that transpired on its premises, highlighting the devastating impact of such violence.
