European Legal Support Center

The European Legal Support Center (ELSC) is an advocacy group that monitors and documents instances of alleged repression targeting individuals and organizations expressing solidarity with Palestine, primarily in Europe. The ELSC is currently newsworthy due to the release of its findings regarding the United Kingdom. According to their research, the ELSC has verified nearly a thousand cases of 'anti-Palestinian repression' in the UK between January 2019 and August 2025. These incidents encompass a range of actions, including arrests of activists, investigations of students, disciplinary measures against employees, cancellation of artistic events, smears, harassment, doxing, visa cancellations, financial blacklisting, and job losses. The ELSC's report highlights concerns about the silencing, criminalization, and sanctioning of Palestinian solidarity efforts in Britain, raising questions about freedom of expression and the targeting of pro-Palestinian voices.
