First, a Fabergé "Winter Egg" sold at auction for a record-breaking $30 million, highlighting the brand's enduring prestige and the high value placed on its creations. Second, a man in New Zealand was arrested for allegedly stealing and swallowing a Fabergé egg locket, valued at approximately $19,000, from Partridge Jewellers. The pendant, an homage to the James Bond film "Octopussy", was eventually recovered after a six-day wait without medical intervention.
