Falange

Falange is a Spanish political organization with a historical connection to fascism. Recent news focuses on the arrest of 13 individuals linked to Falange for disruptive and vandalistic actions at the Complutense University of Madrid on March 6th. A group of 20-30 hooded individuals, reportedly associated with Falange, entered the university, damaged property, and displayed a banner with the Falange emblem and a message rejecting feminism in favor of femininity, timed to coincide with the eve of International Women's Day (March 8th). The arrestees, all under 27 years old, are accused of attempting to disrupt events related to International Women's Day and inciting violence. This incident highlights the continued, albeit limited, activity of Falange and its opposition to feminist movements within Spain.
