Forces de soutien rapide

The Forces de soutien rapide (Rapid Support Forces) are a Sudanese paramilitary group. They are currently newsworthy due to their involvement in ongoing conflict within Sudan. Recent events include a drone strike on a hospital in El-Daein, Darfur, on March 20th, which resulted in 70 deaths, including children. The hospital was reportedly used by the Forces de soutien rapide as a medical and command center, making it a target. Furthermore, the Forces de soutien rapide were reportedly driven out of the Sudanese capital, Khartoum, on March 26, 2025, after intense fighting that caused widespread devastation and an estimated 60,000 deaths.
