Hindu temple

A Hindu temple in Illinois was the alleged target of a planned attack by a 19-year-old American with white supremacist views. The suspect, identified as Patrick Gorski, was arrested after police believe he attempted to carry out the assault. Reports indicate his firearm jammed during the incident, prompting him to flee the scene. He was later apprehended after allegedly informing a colleague of his intent to commit a mass shooting and searching online for ways to fix his jammed gun. The incident has raised concerns about rising anti-Indian racism in the United States. The temple, a place of worship for the Hindu community, was the focus of this foiled plot, highlighting the vulnerability of religious institutions to hate-motivated violence.
