National Liberal Party

The National Liberal Party is a liberal conservative political party in Romania. Founded in 1875 as the country's first organized political party, the National Liberal Party (PNL) is the nation's oldest active party and was the dominant force in the Kingdom of Romania until 1947. During this era, the PNL played a foundational role in the institutional development and administrative consolidation of the modern Romanian state.
