Simultaneously, in Gaza, NGOs are facing pressure from Israeli authorities to disclose sensitive data about their Palestinian staff, with the threat of being banned from operating. Many NGOs are refusing to comply, citing concerns about privacy and potential risks to their employees. These situations highlight the crucial role NGOs play in addressing environmental crises and providing aid in conflict zones, as well as the obstacles they can encounter from governments and other actors.
