Nuestra America

Nuestra America is an international initiative comprising movements, unions, left-wing elected officials, and public figures. The organization is currently newsworthy for its efforts to deliver humanitarian aid, including medicine and food, to Cuba, which is facing a US blockade. Recently, Nuestra America organized a convoy to transport aid to Havana via air and sea. Two contingents have already arrived, and another was scheduled to arrive by boat. Contact was temporarily lost with two of the sailboats in the convoy, causing concern, but communication has since been re-established, and the crews are reported safe.
