Nuestra América

Nuestra América is a humanitarian convoy organization focused on delivering aid to Cuba. The organization's efforts are particularly relevant given Cuba's current energy crisis, exacerbated by a US-imposed oil blockade. Recently, Nuestra América has gained significant media attention due to the disappearance of two of its sailboats carrying humanitarian aid and nine crew members en route to Cuba from Mexico. The Mexican Navy has initiated a search and rescue operation. Despite the missing vessels, the first boat of the flotilla has arrived in Havana. The organization's representatives remain hopeful that the missing vessels have simply deviated from their course and will arrive by April 1st. The convoy also includes activists who have previously been involved in aid efforts to Gaza, highlighting the organization's broader commitment to humanitarian causes and opposition to blockades.
