Pulp

Pulp is a British indie band, known for their contributions to the Britpop scene in the 1990s. They are currently newsworthy due to their involvement in the Adelaide Festival controversy. Initially, Pulp withdrew from performing at the festival in protest of the cancellation of an appearance by Palestinian writer Randa Abdel-Fattah. However, following a reversal by the festival organizers, who apologized and reinstated Abdel-Fattah's event, Pulp announced that they would honor their commitment and perform at the festival on February 27th. Additionally, the band was recently seen at Abbey Road Studios, participating in the 'Help 2' charity album project for Warchild, alongside other artists. This highlights their continued activity and relevance in the music scene, both through live performances and charitable endeavors.
