The Rectorat de Paris is the regional education authority responsible for managing public and private schools under contract within the Académie de Paris. Currently, the Rectorat is planning to eliminate 203 teaching positions in public schools and 70 in private schools due to declining enrollment, particularly affecting schools in the 15th, 18th, 19th, and 20th arrondissements.
