Spanish military

The Spanish military has been deployed to the Spanish exclave of Ceuta, located on the North African coast, following a significant surge in migrants attempting to breach the border from Morocco. This deployment comes after thousands of individuals crossed into Ceuta, resulting in at least 18 reported deaths. The situation has been described by Spain's prime minister as an 'attack' on the country, highlighting the political and security implications of the event. The State Department has subsequently raised its travel advisory for parts of Spain due to these developments. The Spanish military's presence in Ceuta underscores the ongoing challenges related to border security and migration management in the region.
