TCG Isin

The TCG Isin is a Turkish deep-sea search and rescue vessel that has recently joined the international effort to locate and retrieve individuals missing from a ferry disaster off the northern coast of Cyprus. The incident involved a catamaran-style ferry that overturned near the port town of Kyrenia, resulting in the disappearance of 20 people. The TCG Isin was dispatched to the area to bolster the ongoing search and rescue operation, which includes other vessels and aircraft. Its involvement highlights Turkey's participation in addressing the maritime tragedy and its capacity for advanced deep-sea search capabilities. The vessel's deployment underscores the critical need for specialized equipment and personnel in large-scale maritime disaster response scenarios, contributing to the efforts to find any potential survivors and recover those lost at sea.
