Texas Republican party

The Republican Party of Texas (RPT) is the Texas affiliate of the Republican Party in the United States. It is currently chaired by D'Rinda Randall, who succeeded Abraham George in 2026. The party is headquartered in Austin, Texas, and is legally considered a political action committee under Texas law. As of 2025, it is the state's ruling party, controlling all statewide elected offices, both houses of the legislature, and the majority of congressional seats.
