Separately, Universal Music Group (UMG), a completely separate entity, has received a takeover offer from Pershing Square, valued at approximately $64 billion. UMG is the world's largest record label, representing artists such as Taylor Swift and Kendrick Lamar. While both events involve prominent figures and companies in the entertainment industry, they are unrelated to each other and Disney is not involved in the UMG takeover bid.
