Alan Feeney

Alan Feeney, a Reform UK mayoral candidate, has become a focal point of controversy following accusations of making racist remarks. These allegations surfaced amidst a broader crisis for the Reform UK party, which has been rocked by revelations of councillors and other candidates being filmed expressing racist, misogynistic, and extreme views. The party is currently conducting investigations into these incidents, with some councillors already having stepped down. The controversy surrounding Feeney and other party members has led to internal criticism, with a Reform official reportedly berating Nigel Farage for "protecting" Feeney. This situation highlights ongoing scrutiny of the Reform UK party's vetting processes and its stance against racism and extremism, particularly as it impacts the party's public image and electoral prospects.
