Alexander Immisch

Alexander Immisch is the former mayor of Schwalbach, a town in the Main-Taunus-Kreis region of Germany. He is a member of the SPD (Social Democratic Party). Immisch's tenure as mayor recently ended after the CDU candidate, Thomas Milkowitsch, won the mayoral election. This marks a significant loss for the SPD, as Schwalbach was considered an SPD stronghold, having been the strongest faction in the city council for ten years and holding the mayor's office since 2008. The SPD also experienced losses in other areas. Before his departure, Immisch was involved in efforts to strengthen ties between Schwalbach and its Korean community, even after Samsung's departure from the area.
