Amanda Stanhope

Amanda Stanhope is a survivor of repeated sexual assaults by her partner while she was unconscious, a crime often referred to as drug-facilitated rape. Alongside fellow survivor Zoe Watts, Stanhope is actively involved in raising awareness and advocating for victims of this specific type of sexual abuse. They have co-founded and are leading an international support group that has seen hundreds of survivors come forward, including approximately 80 in the UK. Stanhope and Watts are currently campaigning for stricter laws to prevent the sharing of images and videos related to sexual offenses. Their work is particularly relevant due to the increasing recognition of online drug-facilitated rape gangs and the growing need for support systems and legal recourse for survivors.
