Andrew Wolfe

Andrew Wolfe, a 24-year-old Air Force staff sergeant and member of the West Virginia National Guard, is currently newsworthy due to being critically wounded in a shooting in Washington D.C. on November 26th. He and fellow guardsman Sarah Beckstrom were shot while patrolling the US capital as part of a deployment initiated by the Trump administration. Beckstrom tragically died in the attack. Wolfe sustained a head wound and is currently hospitalized in acute care. His parents report that he is "slowly healing" and beginning to "look more like himself". The suspect, Rahmanullah Lakanwal, reportedly struggled with mental health issues and isolation. The families of both Wolfe and Beckstrom have been invited to the White House by Donald Trump.
