The helmet, along with two bracelets, was stolen in January 2025 from the Drents Museum in Assen, Netherlands, during a heist. Brand confirmed the helmet's recovery, calling it "amazing" and "the best news we could have got." Dutch and Romanian authorities announced the recovery, with three suspects arrested in connection with the theft.
