Bartholomaios I

Bartholomew is the current Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople since 1991. In accordance with his title, he is regarded as the primus inter pares (first among equals) in the Orthodox Church, and as a spiritual leader of the Eastern Orthodox Christians worldwide.
