Breezy Johnson

Breezy Johnson is an American alpine ski racer. She recently gained prominence at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy. Johnson won the gold medal in the women's downhill event. Her victory occurred on a day that was initially anticipated to be a comeback for skiing icon Lindsey Vonn. Vonn, competing shortly after sustaining an ACL injury, crashed during her downhill run and had to be airlifted off the mountain, overshadowing Johnson's achievement to some extent. Johnson's gold medal win makes her a star of the US team at the Olympics, alongside figure skater Ilia Malinin. She was also seen with Vonn during training runs prior to the event.
