Brian Loughnane

Brian Loughnane is the current president of the Victorian Liberal Party. He has recently become newsworthy due to a legal dispute initiated by Victorian Liberal MP Moira Deeming. Deeming launched legal action against Loughnane in the Supreme Court on July 3rd, shortly before a party meeting was scheduled to decide her future. This lawsuit was reportedly an 11th-hour challenge following Deeming's assault allegation against former leader Matthew Guy and her subsequent rejection of a proposed resolution.
