Carmen Zander, often referred to as Germany's "Tiger Queen," is the owner of a private menagerie of exotic animals. She has recently gained notoriety following a dangerous incident in Schkeuditz, near Leipzig. Over the weekend, a tiger named Sandokan, belonging to Zander's collection, escaped its enclosure. The escape led to panic among local residents and required the intervention of armed police.
