Chan Wah-hing

Chan Wah-hing, 67, has been sentenced to life imprisonment in Hong Kong for his role in a murder and subsequent ransom blackmail plot. He was convicted alongside Chan Yiu-lung, 33, by a High Court jury. The pair murdered a man following a financial dispute and then attempted to extort HK$3.6 million from the victim's wife for his "release," despite the victim already being deceased.
