Christopher Trybus

Christopher Trybus, 43, was recently acquitted by a jury of eight women and four men on all charges, including manslaughter, coercive and controlling behaviour, and two counts of rape. The charges stemmed from the death of his wife, Tarryn Baird, 34, who was found to have died by hanging on November 28, 2017, in Swindon, Wiltshire. During the trial, Trybus denied all accusations. His barrister, Charlotte Proudman, suggested after the acquittal that a "dead woman was put on trial." The jury deliberated for over 40 hours before reaching their not guilty verdict.
