Düzen Tekkal

Düzen Tekkal is a German human rights activist of Kurdish-Yezidi descent, based in Hannover. She is one of five sisters, including Tezcan, Tuğba, Tuna, and Tülin Tekkal, who are all actively involved in human rights work globally. The sisters have recently co-authored a book about their shared experiences and activism. Düzen Tekkal is currently newsworthy due to her involvement in advocating for stronger measures against digital sexualized violence. She is among over 250 prominent women who have signed a ten-point paper demanding the German government address the issue following the Collien Fernandes case.
