Gerhardt Konig

Gerhardt Konig, a 47-year-old anesthesiologist in Hawaii, is currently newsworthy due to his conviction for attempted manslaughter. He was accused of trying to murder his wife, Arielle Konig, during a trip to Honolulu in March 2025. Prosecutors alleged that Konig planned to kill his wife during a weekend trip for her birthday. The case gained further attention when Konig's 19-year-old son, Emile Konig, testified that his father confessed to him via FaceTime that he had “tried to kill her” after claiming his wife was cheating on him.
