German soldiers

The remains of two World War Two German soldiers have been discovered in Budapest's Danube River. This discovery is attributed to record-low water levels caused by an intense drought. Alongside the soldiers' bodies, identification tags, a German army Wehrmacht motorcycle, a wedding ring, and a Kuban shield (a combat badge of the Wehrmacht) were found. The German War Graves Commission is involved in the process.
