Halden Krog

Halden Krog is a South African photojournalist. He is currently newsworthy for winning a World Press Photo award in the 'Singles' category of the 2026 World Press Photo Contest. His winning photograph, titled "When Giants Fall," depicts a family of elephants being shot by professional hunters in a wildlife park in Zimbabwe.
