Hans Zehrer

Hans Zehrer was the leader of the team responsible for establishing the German newspaper Die WELT in late 1945. Under the British occupation, the British authorities sought to create a newspaper of "high standard" with German editors. Zehrer assembled a team of journalists to fulfill this goal.
