Horatio Nelson

Horatio Nelson was a British Admiral who commanded the Royal Navy. He is newsworthy due to the recent discovery of the wreck of the Danish warship Dannebroge in Copenhagen harbor. This warship was sunk by Nelson's fleet during the Battle of Copenhagen in April 1801. Marine archaeologists are currently working to excavate the wreck, which lies 15 meters beneath the surface in challenging conditions of thick sediment and near-zero visibility.
