Jamie Raskin

Jamie Raskin is a US Representative and ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee. He has been in the news recently due to his involvement in investigating the handling of Jeffrey Epstein's files by the Justice Department. In January, he demanded answers from the Federal Bureau of Prisons about a staffing shortage, which led to corrections officers fleeing for ICE jobs. Raskin also criticized the Justice Department over heavy redactions and prosecution of President Trump's political rivals. He has accused the department of making 'mysterious redactions' in Epstein files that obscured abusers' names. Raskin is currently pushing for the release of classified documents related to special counsel Jack Smith's report on Donald Trump's alleged hiding of classified documents.
