Jimmy Gressier

Jimmy Gressier is a French athlete, originally from Boulogne, and the current European record holder for the 5km distance. He is also the reigning world champion in the 10,000 meters as of September 2025. Gressier is newsworthy due to his recent victory at the Urban Trail de Lille on April 4, 2026, where he improved his own European record in the 5km with a time of 12 minutes and 51 seconds. This time was just two seconds shy of the world record held by Berihu Aregawi. He previously won the same race in 2025, also setting a European record at that time.
