John Clark

John Clark is one of three plaintiffs, along with Jonathan Ganesh and Barry Laycock, suing Gerry Adams, the former Sinn Féin leader, for symbolic damages of £1 each. Clark sustained injuries in the 1973 Old Bailey bombing carried out by the IRA. The plaintiffs allege that Adams, despite his denials, was a leader within the IRA and therefore culpable for the bombings in which they were injured. The case is currently being heard in the high court, with recent testimonies including those from former police officers and a convicted IRA bomber, all suggesting Adams' involvement in the IRA leadership.
