Jordan Devlin

Jordan Devlin is a pro-Palestinian activist and member of Palestine Action, a group known for its direct action protests against Israeli arms companies operating in the UK. Devlin, along with several other activists, was recently on trial for aggravated burglary related to a 2024 break-in at an Elbit Systems factory in Filton, near Bristol. Elbit Systems is an Israeli defense firm. The activists were accused of using sledgehammers and threatening unlawful violence during the incident. However, after a trial at Woolwich Crown Court, Devlin and five other defendants were acquitted of the charges. This acquittal follows a similar outcome for other Palestine Action members in related cases, where prosecutors were unable to provide sufficient evidence. The case highlights the ongoing activism surrounding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the tactics employed by Palestine Action to disrupt the operations of companies they believe are complicit in human rights abuses.
