Jordan Devlin

Jordan Devlin is a pro-Palestinian activist and member of Palestine Action. Palestine Action is a group known for directly targeting Israeli-linked businesses and institutions in the UK, particularly those involved in defense and arms manufacturing. Devlin, along with other activists, was recently on trial for aggravated burglary related to a 2024 break-in at the Elbit Systems factory in Filton, near Bristol. Elbit Systems is an Israeli defense firm. The activists were accused of threatening unlawful violence and using sledgehammers during the incident. However, Devlin and five other defendants were acquitted of the charges. This acquittal follows similar outcomes for other Palestine Action members facing related charges, with prosecutors dropping cases due to lack of evidence. The acquittals highlight the challenges faced by the prosecution in securing convictions against Palestine Action activists and raise questions about the legal strategies employed in response to their protests.
