Laura Borràs

Laura Borràs is a former Culture Minister (exconsellera de Cultura) of the Generalitat de Catalunya. She is currently newsworthy due to her involvement in a legal challenge regarding the transfer of Romanesque murals from the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya (MNAC) to the Monastery of Sijena. Along with four other former Culture Ministers (Lluís Puig, Joan Manuel Tresserras, Ferran Mascarell, and Àngels Ponsa), Borràs has filed a criminal complaint (querella) against the judge overseeing the execution of the court order mandating the return of the murals.
