Lu Yaxiang

Lu Yaxiang, a professor at the Chinese Academy of Sciences’ Institute of Physics, is a young Chinese scientist making significant advancements in sodium-ion battery technology. She has dedicated a decade to making these batteries commercially viable, aiming to provide an alternative to the dominant lithium-ion batteries. Her work has recently gained national recognition, earning her the prestigious China Youth May Fourth Medal, an award for outstanding achievers under 35.
